ACCOMMODATION
We offer accommodation in a variety of styles - within the ancient inn and around the complex. Wireless internet connection is available for all guests in the bar.
The Wordsworth Suite
William Wordsworth ,writing in 1799 to Coleridge, mentions his visit to The Green Dragon together with his sister Dorothy. The suite is situated in the Georgian portion of the inn and the renovation was completed in October 2009. It comprises of a large bedroom with queen size brass bed, antique furnishings and paintings, a flat screen digital TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Complimentary miniature liquers are also provided for our guests. A victorian style bathroom, including a luxury pressure shower (and huge bath!) completes the accommodation.
The Turner Suite
Again remembering Turner's stay in the inn in 1816 (possibly in these very rooms). Here a large open beamed sitting room complete with grandfather clock, chesterfield settee, 16th century oak furniture and a collection of 18th century oil paintings. Digital TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Complimentary miniature liquers are also provided for our guests. The stone walled bedroom is furnished with antiques a brass bedstead. An adjoining bathroom features a large power shower and claw foot bath.

Both these suites are £45 per person per night, including breakfast.
We also offer three 'mid week nights' at £240 per suite.

The Lodge
A variety of ensuite rooms priced at £35 per person per night bed and breakfast
Cotterdale- Sitting room, double bedroom, kitchen and bathroom.
Deepdale - Studio double or single (zip & link beds)
Colsterdale - Studio double or single (zip & link beds)
Malhamdale - Two bedrooms (either double or twin), bathroom and small kitchen
The Bunk House
We now have bunk house facilities and these are available for groups with rooms for 2, 4, and 6 people.
Beds are provided with a pillow and quilt. Cost is £15 per person per night. Discounts for two nights or more and especially for walking parties.
There is a small snack kitchen with fridge microwave and toaster and tea and coffee making facilities, some rooms have en suite facilities others share two toilet and shower rooms.
Bertha's Cottage
Our newly opened (October 2009) cottage, offering accommodation for 5 people, comprises:
- Sitting room with 2 (bed sttees) large digital TV, coffee table
and dining table seating 5.
- Kitchen fully fitted with fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, cooker hob etc.
- Single bedroom and two double/twin bedrooms.
